Catawba Valley Gem and Mineral Club holds an annual show featuring vendors selling mineral and fossil specimens, jewelry components, fine and custom jewelry, tools, lapidary equipment, and various other items. CVGMC members are there throughout the weekend to help identify minerals, to provide lapidary demonstrations and activities for the kids.
